MASTER · Master of Engineering, Computing in Construction, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences
Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences · Helsinki, Finland
The student who has completed the program understands the varieties of data created in the real estate and construction industry and has hands-on capabilities to apply, develop and implement modern computational methods and tools to process it, with the purpose of increased quality, sustainability, productivity, and security of construction. The student is familiar with heterogeneous models about the built environment (building information models, city models, infrastructure models), and sensor and condition data generated by building automation systems and IoT systems. The student has the skills to utilize computational tools to query, process, and manage the data, and develop and extend models and computational tools for tasks in the construction domain.
