What competencies does the graduate have? You will learn to design environmentally friendly urban environments and transport systems using tools like service design, AI and data analysis. What kind of learning methods are used in the programme? You learn through lectures and group work coached by teachers (contact teaching) as well as independent online studies. You will also learn through games, simulations, and other digital tools in urban design. Your studies focus on applying knowledge and skills gained in hands-on projects, internships, or a thesis, often commissioned by HAMK's industry and business partners. What kind of career opportunities does the graduate have? You become an engineer who can design sustainable cities with a specialisation in mobility, infrastructure or data management. You will work with professionals from different fields and act as a specialist in sustainable design in international companies in Finland or abroad.
