Plain-language
Privacy — student summary.
Last updated 18 April 2026
This is a short, plain-language version of our Privacy Policy, written for the people who actually use Circulus. It is a summary, not the legally binding text — for that, see the full Privacy Policy.
- We only store what you type in yourself plus a few technical things we need to run the site (like a session cookie so you stay signed in).
- Your essays, your chances results, your interview answers — we treat those as yours. We do not sell them, and we do not feed them into AI training.
- You can download everything we have on you as a JSON file from Settings.
- You can delete your account from Settings. We remove your data within 30 days. Billing records are kept where tax law requires it, but without your name or profile.
- If you are under 16, we need a parent or legal guardian to confirm once that they are OK with us processing your data for AI features. That is a GDPR rule, not a Circulus rule.
